Naturists-Weekend at Hard, Lake Constance 2023
The annual SYN meeting took place at the beautiful naturist resort in Hard / Fussach on the shores of Lake Constance on the weekend of 16th -18th June 2023. Our annual gathering at Hard is fast establishing itself as a big get-together for young naturists from all over Europe. More than seventy young nudists joined us from numerous countries, with participants joining from Denmark, England, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Croatia, Malta, Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As with all SYN events, participants made their own travel arrangements, and those from the same regions were put in touch with each other by the organisation team to form carpools.
On Friday afternoon we raised our banner in the nudist area on Lake Constance.
The extensive area is surrounded by a nature reserve and offers, in addition to a beautiful meadow landscape, plenty of sun loungers, table tennis tables, a beach volleyball court, a boccia court, walking trails, and access to the lake for swimming. The site also boasts excellent facilities which include barbecue areas, showers and lockers, parasol and lounger rentals and good restaurants. Younger people are sometimes viewed with scepticism at many nudist sites but we were once again given a very warm welcome and made to feel at home.
The participants soon got to know each other whilst playing beach volleyball, table tennis, swimming or sunbathing. At the BBQ party in the evening, new friends were made and old friends reacquainted over a few drinks and the room arrangements were finalised. Pascal and Daniela organised 40 beds in double and multi-bed rooms at nearby Junge Hotel, which sold out very quickly earlier in the spring due to the high demand. Those who could not stay at the Junge Hotel organised their own accommodation either at a campsite or nearby guesthouses or hotels. After the BBQ on the first evening, the group explored Bregenz's nightlife and the night ended at the beach bar by the harbour with chilled beats and cocktails.
After breakfast (between 7 and 11 a.m.) we returned to the nudist area, where a lovely day was spent together, ending with another relaxed BBQ which was kindly organised by Meron and Anna. The evening was spent at the hotel and a neighbouring bar for further refreshing drinks and interesting conversations. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere among like-minded people made for another successful weekend. Unfortunately, on Sunday morning we had to say goodbye to those who had a long journey home ahead of them but most returned to the naturist area where another enjoyable day was spent.
We look forward to our next visit to Hard on Friday, July 5th to Sunday, July 7th, 2024. A reservation of 64 beds has been made at the Junge Hotel in Hard for that date. There is a great demand, and as beds are allocated on a first come, first served basis we recommend that you don't wait too long to book!
